Affiliate program is marketing program that allows affiliates to earn a commission (in our case, a margin) by promoting the platform’s products and driving sales through their unique referral links.  

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a user’s device when they click on an affiliate link. The purpose of an affiliate cookie is to track the user’s activity and attribute any resulting sales or conversions to the appropriate affiliate marketer.  

Our cookie lasts for 48 hours, which means that affiliates can only be awarded a margin of sales that take place within 48 hours after a lead has clicked on the affiliate link. It takes just a second for a customer to add item to cart, and if order is placed within 48 hours, the margin is awarded. 

 After signing up and getting approved, log in to my account to access your affiliate dashboard and to generate referral links of any product of your choice.  

Sale margin is the percentage of the selling price which we add to the selling price of a product.

Once a cookie has been tracked and order is placed within 48 hours requesting for quote, an initial margin is registered on affiliate dashboard. Vendor must then fulfil the order within 60 days and remit back the margin which will be awarded to the affiliate. 

We pay affiliates at the end of the month, only when the quote request has resulted in a sale and when affiliates have reached a payout threshhold of GHC 100. We pay via the mobile money, and affiliates bear the charges.

If it turned out that, the order was not fulfilled within 60 days or the customer did not proceed with the order hence payment was not recieved, then we would have to cancel the margin as the quote request did not result in a sale. The order status shall always be confirmed with both customer and vendor, and keep the affiliate posted. 

In our effort towards maintaining the integrity of the program, we shall request and follow up with vendors to update their stock levels and prices weekly as we add our 5% marketplace margin. We are able to automatically send quote on behalf of the vendor, follow up with customers for confirmation of order, liaise with vendors to fulfil order and follow up with customers for when payment will be made. We count on vendors to remit back the 5% margin.

We have an affiliate community that provides support to affiliates through regular meetings 

We will provide banners, text links, and other promotional materials to help the affiliate promote products.  

This decentralizes marketing to bring in traffic to the site, increase synergi, improve brand awareness and build trust for more B2B transactions and high conversion rate for the marketplace  

As an afffiliate, who is active in promoting you referral links and able to encourage buyers to add item to carts and place an orders, you are set to succeed given the high ticket items and the business-to-business nature of transactions on our platform. 99% of orders are placed by companies who are ready purchase within 60 days.

Vendors are able to sell at their preferred selling prices and keep updating prices as they please while the 5% marketplace margin is added to finance the affiliate program. Vendors do not lose any revenue from paying commission. The payout is strictly based on the margin.

The affiliate program in the B2B model, where businesses request for quotes on high priced item means it takes time for order to be fulfilled. The success of the programs relies 100% on trust, transparency, responsiveness and high sense of responsibily on the part of vendors who must ensure they fullfil the order.  

Vendors must always update their stock level and prices on the marketplace and fulfil every order.

Marketplace shall monitor orders and follow up with customers to track order fulfiment and payment

Vendor must remit the 5% margin to the marketplace to be disbursed to the affiliate.

Vendors are still able to sell at the price they deserve for their products

Marketplace only adds 5% margin on the selling price to create some liquidity 

The 5% Margin is used to pay affiliates and drive marketing efforts
